In 2014, Dawn Sutherland moved from Los Angeles, CA, to Kumasi, Ghana, to found Bridge-To-Africa Connection [1], a nonprofit that empowers women and girls through education. She now mentors 12 young girls, nicknamed The Sunday Morning Girls," [2] whose lives are forever changed, thanks to Auntie Dawn.
