As the nation continues to process the conclusion of the presidential race, Hillary Clinton supporters are channeling their frustration and disappointment in a practical way that speaks to their chosen candidate's advocacy of reproductive rights. On the private Pantsuit Nation Facebook group [1], a member of the group shared she would be donating to Planned Parenthood following Donald Trump's shocking win [2]. Many have since followed suit.

In the post, the member — whose name has been left out to respect her privacy — said she made a monthly donation to Planned Parenthood in honor of Donald Trump [3]. "When they go low, we go high," she wrote, echoing Michelle Obama's now famous quote [4], which has since been frequently cited by Hillary Clinton.

The powerful form of protest is partly due to Trump's repudiation of Planned Parenthood [5]. At the GOP debate on Feb. 25, Trump said, "You can say whatever you want, but they have millions of women going through Planned Parenthood that are helped greatly." Adding: "And I wouldn't fund it."
