The Hilarious Way Some Americans Are Trolling President Trump With Postcards

Feb 12 2017 - 4:50pm

Pundits and observers have long speculated that Steve Bannon, chief strategist to the president, has more power in the White House than his title proclaims. So when reports surfaced that Bannon, along with another Breitbart alum, Stephen Miller, cowrote the executive order banning immigrants [1] from seven predominately Muslim countries, it was suggested that he was making policy decisions for the president. Shortly after, Bannon was unusually promoted to a position on the National Security Council [2] while the joint chiefs of staff were demoted.

A report from The New York Times suggests that Trump was unaware that an executive order he signed [3] promoted Bannon, which is almost as alarming as the order itself. The Times described the revelation, per an aide, as "a greater source of frustration to the president than the fallout from the travel ban."

People immediately started questioning whether Bannon was actually president [4], and Trump apparently became bothered by the claims, alluding to the situation in a tweet asserting his control.

I call my own shots, largely based on an accumulation of data, and everyone knows it. Some FAKE NEWS media, in order to marginalize, lies!

Attempting to embarrass Trump's narcissistic tendencies [6], social media users have started writing Trump letters that are addressed to "President Bannon." The idea of the campaign is that if Trump believes his power is being undermined, he might move to sideline Bannon.

Take a look at some of the postcards below.
