Over the weekend, photos of President Obama at a wedding began spreading across social media with much speculation about their veracity. But your eyes are not deceiving you: Obama was a groomsman at his aide's wedding in Jacksonville, FL, on Saturday [3].
According to The Florida Times-Union [4], the wedding was between Obama's travel director, Marvin Nicholson, and Helen Pajcic, who is the daughter of Democratic fundraiser and former gubernatorial candidate Steve Pajcic. Helen Pajcic also worked on Obama's 2008 campaign team [5], delaying her graduation from Princeton University to do so.
Obama wasn't the only recognizable face at the wedding; John Kerry officiated the ceremony, and you can also spot him in the pictures. Take a look at some social media posts from the wedding below.
