On the latest episode of Full Frontal With Samantha Bee, the late-night host sent British comedian Amy Hoggart to investigate President Donald Trump's rocky history with the people of Scotland. The dual-citizen comedian also narrated the hilarious segment, which starts with a look back at Trump's ambitious goal to build "the greatest golf course" in 2007.

Trump, then just a businessman, professed, "I love the Scotch, I'm Scotch myself," citing it as the birth place of his mother, Mary Anne MacLeod Trump. "It's Scottish, you plonker!" Hoggart shouts, correcting Trump's embarrassing mistake in the old clip.

Trump was able to win over the Scottish government by promising his golf course would bring in 6,000 jobs to the country but ran into a hiccup when Michael Forbes, a local farmer in the area, refused to sell his land. Trump met with Forbes and asked if his land was worth "25 dollars an acre" to which he replied "in your f*cking dreams." The incident, along with two other petty feuds Trump involved himself in with Scottish citizens, sparked a widespread protest against Trump and his golf course.

So, how do the Scots advise Americans deal with Trump? "Keep pissing him off, and he'll crack up. And he'll end up in a padded cell" Mr. Forbes advised Americans about surviving four more years of Trump's already controversial presidency.
