Senator Elizabeth Warren is never one to hold back her opinions, so when the Senate Republicans released their healthcare bill [3], the first thing she called it was "blood money." The Massachusetts senator posted a video on Twitter [4] breaking down the alarming 142-page document. She started off by talking about how the plan is great for rich people who make a lot of money in the stock market or have a trust fund.

Warren explained that the bill cuts all federal funding to Planned Parenthood and offers tax breaks to rich people that would come from massive Medicaid cuts.

"Take a minute to think about what that means," she said. "It means that one in five Americans who are getting their health care through Medicaid are going to have to suffer through those cuts. Thirty million kids who get their health care from Medicaid? Deeper cuts. For nearly two out of three seniors in nursing homes who rely on Medicaid to help them pay the nursing home bills? They're going to face cuts."

Warren intends to fight the bill. "This bill does not represent our values," she said. "This bill is not who we are as a country. We believe that health care is a basic human right, and we will get out there and fight for it."

Former President Barack Obama expressed a similar sentiment as well [6] in a Facebook post. In it, he wrote, "[this] is not a healthcare bill. It's a massive transfer of wealth from middle-class and poor families to the richest people in America."
