On Thursday evening, mere hours after the first lady shocked the entire nation [2] by wearing a parka that read "I Really Don't Care, Do U?" while visiting migrant children facilities in Texas, Stephen Colbert [3] chimed in with his two cents.
He began by sharing his initial disbelief at her tone-deaf outfit choice and pointing out the utter irony of it all. "Before I show you this photo, please know it's real. We checked it so many times because we thought this has to be fake. But today, on her way to show that she cares, Melania wore a jacket that says 'I Really Don't Care, Do U?'" he said with a bewildered look on his face.
Colbert continued, "That's what they settled on?
