Trevor Noah couldn't let Donald Trump's comments about the election recount go without mockery. Following the news that Hillary Clinton would join Jill Stein's recount efforts [1] over the weekend, the president-elect falsely tweeted that he, not Clinton, won the popular vote because "millions of people" voted illegally.
In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 27, 2016 [2]
Noah gave Trump a new nickname of "sore winner," saying, "Count on Donald Trump to find a way to be a sore winner. I didn't even know that was a thing." He also said Trump only cares about winning the popular vote because it has the word "popular" in it.
In another segment that was just as critical of Trump, Noah called out why the president elect's conflicts of interests are so dangerous.
