There's Something Wrong With Trump's Framed Inauguration Photo — and It's Not the Crowd Size

Donald Trump and his administration have insisted that his presidential inauguration had one of the largest attendances in history, despite photos that prove otherwise [2].

In an apparent effort to show the press how impressive the audience actually was at the inauguration, Trump tweeted out a photo of the crowd that he plans to hang in the White House press hall.

A photo delivered yesterday that will be displayed in the upper/lower press hall. Thank you Abbas! pic.twitter.com/Uzp0ivvRp0 [3]

However, there is one problem with this picture: the date on the framed photo is incorrect, as many Twitter users have pointed out. The photo includes text with the date "January 21, 2017," which was the day after Trump was inaugurated and the day millions of people around the world [5] protested his policies and rhetoric through the Women's March.

.@realDonaldTrump [6] That's not even the right date. pic.twitter.com/mQJPpGhkTk [7]

.@realDonaldTrump [11] DONALD JOHN TRUMP, the photo caption says January 21st! Oh dear lord, honey. You are hanging an error in the press room. pic.twitter.com/S9kme28L6L [12]

If Trump's goal was to send a message to the press with this, it looks like all he's going to get from them is a good laugh.
