How many days until election day again? A recent Fox News interview between Megyn Kelly and Newt Gingrich is going viral after the former Speaker of the House and onetime presidential candidate accused Kelly of being "fascinated with sex" during a heated discussion of the infamous leaked tape of Donald Trump [1].

Gingrich was slated to appear on The Kelly File to talk about his new novel, Treason, but things took a turn when Kelly brought up Trump's declining popularity, largely due to his poor debate performances and the aforementioned tape. Kelly then began to allude to the possibility of Trump being a "sexual predator" but she was promptly cut off by Gingrich. He said, "You could not defend that statement. I'm sick and tired of people like you using language that's inflammatory that's not true . . . That is exactly the bias that people are upset by."

After Gingrich berated Kelly for condemning Trump's comments, she replied, "I think that your defensiveness on this may speak volumes, sir . . . What we saw on that tape was Trump himself saying that he likes to grab women by the genitals and kiss them against their will."

That's when Gingrich made the interview's most cringe-worthy comment: "You are fascinated with sex and you don't care about public policy!" Kelly replied by saying, "I'm not fascinated by sex but I am fascinated by the protection of women and understanding what we're getting in the oval office."

Trump had previously attacked Kelly [2] after she pressed him on his treatment of women when she hosted the first Republican debate. Following the debate, Trump said, "You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes . . . Blood coming out of her wherever," insinuating that she had been on her period.
