Watch Trump Get Super Awkward When He's Interrupted by the Pastor of a Black Church

Not in her house. Rev. Faith Green Timmons interrupted Donald Trump during a speech at her church in Flint, MI, on Wednesday once the GOP nominee started attacking Hillary Clinton. "Mr. Trump, I invited you here to thank us for what we've done in Flint, not give a political speech," Timmons said as she walked to the podium where Trump was speaking at the Bethel United Methodist Church.

"OK, that's good. Then I'm going back onto Flint, OK?" Trump said. "Flint's pain is a result of so many different failures." When Timmons interrupted Trump, he had been criticizing Clinton for supporting free trade agreements, which he said caused Flint's economic crisis. "Hillary failed on the economy. Just like she's failed on foreign policy. Everything she touched didn't work out. Nothing. Now Hillary Clinton . . . " he started. According to CNN, this was Trump's first visit to the city, which has been plagued by a water-contamination scandal.

The awkward encounter at the predominantly black church didn't end with the pastor, either. People in the audience heckled Trump by shouting that he had discriminated against black tenants in New York in the '70s. "No, I never, never would, never would," said Trump, despite the fact that the Justice Department once sued the nominee over racial bias.
