Bourbon-Glazed Chicken Wings

Notes
Finish the wings with a dusting of freshly cracked black pepper, which really elevates the smoky flavor of the wings.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup flour
1 1/4 teaspoon salt
12 chicken wings, wing tips removed and separated at the joint
1/4 cup bourbon
1/4 cup maple syrup, plus more for serving
Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 425˚F, and line a sheet pan with foil.
- Mix the flour and 1 teaspoon salt together in a medium mixing bowl, and add the wings, tossing to coat.
- Arrange the dusted wings in an even layer, and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove wings, and flip, baking for an additional 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the bourbon, maple syrup, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
- Baste the wings with the sauce, and place under the broiler for 2 minutes per side.
- Finish with an extra drizzle of maple syrup and freshly ground black pepper before serving.
