Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry

Inspired by McDonald's [1]

1/2 cup chocolate chips
4 cups vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup milk
8 Cadbury Creme Egg Candies [2]

Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30 second intervals until pourable. Pour chocolate into a thin layer on a silicon mat and let harden. Once hard, break into shards and set aside.
Place vanilla ice cream and milk in a large mixing bowl, and use an immersion blender to blend until smooth. Chop up 6 Cadbury Creme Eggs and add to ice cream. Blend slightly. Fold in chocolate shards and then place in two serving glasses.
Take a Cadbury egg, cut it in half, and place it on top of the ice cream mixture. Serve immediately.
