Hot Honey
Chili Pepper Madness by Mike Hultquist
Notes
Store hot honey in a sealed glass jar and refrigerate for up to four weeks.

Ingredients
- 4-5 habanero peppers, roughly chopped (remove seeds if desired)
4-5 small dried peppers, roughly chopped
12 ounces honey
Directions
- In a small pot, simmer peppers and honey on medium heat for five minutes. This will allow the natural pepper flavor and heat to infuse into the honey.
- Remove hot honey from heat and let cool.
- Over a mason jar or glass container of your choosing, strain the infused honey through a fine mesh sieve. Toss out the peppers.
- Enjoy on biscuits, fried chicken, ice cream, with hot water and lemon, and much more!
