• When your pets sit on your lap, the toxins from the smoke that are inevitably on your clothes transfer to their fur.

• Your pets can accidentally swallow cigarette butts that aren't disposed of properly.
• You can transfer the toxins from your hand to your pets' fur when you pet them.
