Jes met Edith the chow mix in 2008 when she was on a routine visit with PETA in North Carolina to deliver food, bedding, and love. Jes's visits continued for seven years, when one day Edith was just gone. Amazingly enough, though, just recently, Jes found Edith again, and to her delight and relief, Edith's owners decided to surrender the dog to PETA.
