I wish I could take my dogs on the plane with me but they're large dogs and wouldn't fit under a seat or on my lap. I have heard bad stories (my hubby works in the news) of pets that didn't fare well when put in the cargo hold or of dogs that didn't survive the trip and it just scares me from ever trying it. Otherwise - I'd love to have my pooches with me at all times!

mine's not furry, she's feathered, but she came in the cabin with me, in a carrier under the seat. there were two cats in their own carriers a few rows up so she had someone to look at during the ride :)
