Happy National Pit Bull Awareness Day! Seven years ago, one woman dedicated a day [1] to educating the public about Pit Bulls and showing positivity toward the breed and their responsible owners. Eventually October was turned into National Pit Bull Awareness Month, with an ultimate goal of changing the negative image of the dogs commonly referred to as bully breeds.
