To say they're living the dream is an understatement — all of them are rescues, too. While everyone on this list could easily afford to buy enough pets to fill a zoo, these celebrities chose to adopt instead of shop, and gave their pets a forever home. Remember that scene in Gifted, where Chris Evans's character visits a dog pound? As it turns out, Chris fell in love with one of the dogs, Dodger, and decided to give him a home. "I was walking up and down the aisles and saw this one dude, and he didn't belong there," Chris told People. "I snagged him and he's such a good dog."

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have three fur babies, and rescue dog Panda is their latest addition. Panda is a husky and Australian shepherd mix and has a German shepherd brother named Gino and a Chihuahua sister named Diana, both of whom have hundreds of thousands of followers on Instagram.

Jennifer Aniston

During the COVID-19 lockdown, Jennifer Aniston rescued Lord Chesterfield, a puppy from Wagmor Pets Dog Rescue in Los Angeles. "He stole my heart immediately," she said in her Instagram post.

Whoopi Goldberg

Whoopi Goldberg's rescue cat Verrazano, nicknamed Vinny, was found shortly after being abandoned on the Verrazzano Bridge in New York. When the cat appeared on The View, Whoopi couldn't help but adopt him.

Ariana Grande has rescued 10 dogs (and a pig named Piggy Smallz), and she recently opened a nonprofit animal shelter called Orange Twins Rescue in Los Angeles. She is often seen with Toulouse, a beagle-Chihuahua mix, and Myron, a pit bull mix she and late rapper Mac Miller adopted together in 2017.

Whiskey's tragic car accident left him with three legs and no family until Kristen Bell came to his rescue. According to Kristen, "the girls adore him, and Dad lovingly tolerates him."

Kaley Cuoco is a known animal-lover and shares her Coachella Valley farm with a large pack of dogs, all of whom are rescues. She says she won't reveal the exact number in case it's illegal, but Kaley and her husband regularly foster dogs, and recently adopted a Chihuahua named Dumpy. "I wanted to go on this new adventure of fostering," she told Femestella. "I saw a picture of this dog who can't really walk, he's very overweight, he's old, his teeth are falling out. I'm like, that's the one I want!"

Dua Lipa and her boyfriend, Anwar Hadid (Gigi and Bella Hadid's brother), adopted a rescue puppy named Dexter, whom they describe as their "tiny best friend."

Lucy Hale

Lucy Hale insists she's not a regular dog mom, she's a cool dog mom. Her fur babies are a maltipoo named Elvis and a rescue named Ethel, who is Elvis's mini-me.

Sarah Paulson rescued her dog, Winnie, from California-based animal rescue Paw Works. In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Sarah said that Winnie loves to socialize, and considering she made an appearance on the 2021 Golden Globes, it's safe to say Winnie is living her best life.

President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden adopted German shepherd Major in 2018 from the Delaware Humane Association. Major, the first shelter dog to live at the White House, is joined by his brother Champ, who is also a German shepherd.

Dave Franco and Alison Brie rescued two kitten siblings, Otis Henry Franco and Mad Maxine Fury Road, from Mae Day Rescue. According to Alison, it didn't take long to fall in love with them.

According to Nylon, at one point she was taking care of 30 at a time. Currently she has a rescue miniature pinscher named Dollar, whose siblings are Peter Pan, Mugsy, Dolce, Prada, Harajuku Bitch, Marilyn Monroe, Prince Baby Bear, Prince Hilton the Pom, and Princess Paris Jr.

Ava Phillippe

Right around the time of the death of their family pet Pepper, Reese Witherspoon's daughter, Ava Phillippe, brought home a rescue adopted from Best Friends Animal Society in Utah. "Even though we just entered each other's lives, I feel like I've known Benji forever," Ava said of their connection.
