It's hard to choose just one of the extremely quotable characters of Schitt's Creek [1] to impersonate, but for one adorable Chiweenie dog, her instinct was to channel the Rose family's eccentric matriarch, Moira. And she freaking nailed it, wig, pajama vest, and all.
Vern, who is a cross between a Chihuahua and a Dachshund, dressed up as Moira [2] for Halloween [3] 2019 in a black tulle tutu, a plaid top, a bedazzled vest, and a red curly wig. Her costume — which is on par with this bébé dressed as David Rose [4] — was shared in two separate posts on her Instagram account [5] with the captions "These are my business pajamas" and "I'm ready for my close-up," and yeah, obviously!
"David [6], stop acting like a disgruntled pelican!" — Vern, probably.
