Connecticut-based photographer Ute-Christin Cowan [1] is a veteran when it comes to getting the perfect shot. And though we were plainly obsessed with her Ellen DeGeneres [2] and Watch What Happens Live cake smashes [3] featuring kids, her recent newborn photo shoot [4] for an English Bulldog puppy [5] has us thinking maybe she should work with pets more often!
"I'm mainly a newborn photographer and one of my clients just picked up her puppy Ellie this week in Ohio," Ute-Christin told POPSUGAR. "When I saw her post about the new puppy I suggested she needed newborn puppy pictures [6] done. First we laughed about it, but I was serious! She came to the studio and we decided on a Valentine's Day [7] shoot. We picked some props that would show off this time of the year. She is 10 weeks old and just the cutest thing. Ellie was a great furry baby and fell asleep in between poses just like the human babies I usually photograph!"
