An Editor's Guide to the Prime Day Deals Worth Shopping, From Apple to Shark

Oct 6 2026 - 3:00am

Didn't we just have Prime Day? Sure, but October Prime Day is even better. There's everything from editor-approved beauty products to celebrity-loved skin care, plus tech deals that are hard to come by. We track the most heavily-discounted products so you don't have to scroll endlessly, and you can browse only what's actually worth buying. To that end, I've rounded up the best picks available right now, starting at $8. Curious how I know these are the best deals? As in years past, I've followed our house rule: A good deal is at least 20 percent off. From there, I've prioritized products we've written about and tested before. I've also included a few I use in my own routine or have had my eye on that look promising. These deals only last 48 hours, so don't wait until the last minute; I'd shop ASAP while everything is still in stock.

The gadget is remarkably slim and compact, so much so that I can squeeze it into even my smallest crossbody bags. Not only are they buttery soft to the touch, but they're also so lightweight and resemble more of a second skin rather than a classic workout pant. I was hesitant about the style's size offerings, but was pleasantly surprised to find that they contoured perfectly to my body — providing full-length coverage on my leg, accentuating every curve, and also sitting perfectly on my waistline with their tummy-control design." — Kyley Warren, former assistant shopping editor

The lip tint has an incredibly smooth texture that provides a seamless glide on the lips without feeling sticky. Unlike other lipsticks I've used, the formula stayed on my lips for hours, even through drinking and eating. I didn't have to reapply because the color is so long-lasting. I also love that the hue I tried, Coquettish, delivered a gorgeous shade of red that's not too much for everyday wear, directly catering to my newfound obsession." — Naomi Parris, former assistant shopping editor

Editor Quote: "What's nice about the lip balm is that it has a similar consistency to the fan-favorite Lip Sleeping Mask — the brand's creamy overnight lip treatment — but slightly thinner and therefore better suited to wear throughout the day. Plus, the tube applicator makes it easy to swipe on when on the go, and it fits easily inside a purse or a pocket." — Kelsey Garcia, lifestyle director

It's powerful and fast, and it uses low heat to style my hair...If you're feeling too hot, you can adjust the temperature down as you go. It's truly an all-in-one hair tool that can be used for any occasion, and you can even personalize it by choosing three attachments that you believe you'd use most." — Haley Lyndes, former shopping staff writer

The shirred seams give it a noticeably flattering fit and the crisscross back makes me feel secure, even though the top itself isn't too tight or restricting. It's functional and movable no matter what activity I'm doing, but I find it particularly appropriate for cycling on my Peloton bike at home or attending Pilates classes teamed with flared leggings. Read about one editor's experience and see demonstration videos in this Zulay Milk Frother review [46].

Editor Quote: "I had a different handheld milk frother before this, and it's like comparing a Toyota to a Ferrari. No disrespect to the Toyotas of the world, but the power and speed are incomparable. It moves so fast, and the benefit to that is it froths like no other. I vastly prefer this frother to both other handheld varieties and more expensive frothers that work automatically." - India Yaffe, former associate shopping editor

Barefoot Dreams CozyChic™ Rib Throw Blanket [51] ($99, originally $165)

When the temperature drops, this Barefoot Dreams throw makes it easy to get comfortable. It's one of Joanna Gaines's favorite things [52] — she loves hers so much that she calls it her "adult baby blanket." One of our editors also tested the throw's famously soft feel. Read our Barefoot Dreams CozyChic™ Rib Throw Blanket review [53] to find out whether it lives up to the buzz.

Editor Quote: "I expected it to be soft and warm since the brand is practically synonymous with all things cozy — the product name is "CozyChic" after all. That said, reading about how good it feels really doesn't do it justice. Like silk pajamas or a cashmere sweater, it's hard to justify the cost until you feel it against your skin. As soon as I took it out of the packaging, my 4- and 7-year-old boys dove for the couch to curl up with it and didn't want to get up. At 54 by 72 inches, it's also large enough for two people to comfortably share — no tug of war necessary.

As far as aesthetics are concerned, it looks even more elevated than I thought it would. I was worried that the fuzzy texture would look a little messy — like a I had a bathrobe draped on my sofa — but the ribbed option complements the subtle stripes on my throw pillows and actually looks pretty polished. I also appreciate that the throw comes in a range of beautiful neutral colors aside from just white and gray, like the sand option I chose. It's easy to find a color that blends with other decor elements, like your rug or throw pillows." — Angela Elias, former contributing shopping editor

You don't need to be a professional chef to make a great meal at home with this Cosori air fryer. It brings several cooking functions together in one appliance so you can roast, bake, dehydrate, and broil without crowding your counter with extra gadgets. Editor Quote: "If you're someone who (like me) is always looking for ways to simplify your time spent in the kitchen, then I can't recommend this air fryer enough. The product cooks full meals in record time, much faster than if I was using an oven or stovetop. It also uses up to 95 percent less oil than traditional deep-frying methods, so it's a great alternative if you're hoping to eat healthier." — Kyley Warren, former assistant shopping editor

The product is easy to assemble, as it comes mostly put together and simply requires that you join the actual cleaner with attachments like the flex hose storage bracket. Within a few minutes, you're ready to begin putting the cleaner to work." - Kyley Warren, former assistant shopping editor

Coway Mighty Air Purifier [58] ($190, originally $270)

Customers and editors alike love this air purifier. Its compact, lightweight design makes it easy to tuck out of sight, and one of our editors says it helped ease her stuffy nose. Read her experience in this Coway Mighty Air Purifier review [59].

Editor Quote: "It's also sleek, and you can easily tuck it away. My favorite feature, though, might be Eco Mode: when no pollution is detected, the purifier automatically shuts off. Genius." — Rebecca Brown, former contributor

Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker [60] ($170, originally $220)

A TikTok favorite, the Ninja Creami is one of the best kitchen deals we've seen. Its seven programs make everything from ice cream and gelato to sorbet, milkshakes, and smoothie bowls. Get the full scoop in our editor's Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker review [61].

Editor Quote: "Not to be overly dramatic, but I couldn't stop smiling after diving into this ice cream. This machine is great for ice cream aficionados of all kinds. My fiancé and I are most excited about creating healthy-ish ice cream alternatives that don't cost 10 bucks a pint." — Marisa Petrarca, former contributing shopping editor

These chunky earrings give you the look of a designer pair that costs $820 without the splurge. Read our Apsvo Chunky Earrings review [63] for more.

Editor Quote: "Having worn them to a fall wedding recently, I can confirm they're worth the hype. Not only do they look expensive, but the best thing about them is they're lightweight, which I found especially surprising giving their chunky teardrop shape and substantial size. While wearing them, I don't even feel them in my earlobes, unlike others that I've owned that feel heavy and like they're pulling." — Marisa Petrarca, former contributing shopping editor

Editor Quote: "These devices are best for people who travel a lot, or who are always misplacing things like their keys or wallet. They're also best for people with Apple devices, as they pair automatically with your iPhone." — India Yaffe, former associate shopping editor

Each earbud fits perfectly in my ear, almost like it was a missing puzzle piece. Plus, you can twist it up or down to get an even more secure and comfortable fit. Whether I'm busy at work, running errands, working out, or running around NYC, these earbuds do not fall out." — Anvita Reddy, former assistant shopping editor

Whether it's grunting gym bros or crying babies on flights, sounds will be totally blocked out by these headphones." — Anvita Reddy, former assistant shopping editor

Samsung's bestselling Frame TV is designed to look like framed art when you're not watching it, making it a stylish fit for minimalist spaces and art lovers alike. When it's on, the 4K Ultra HD display delivers a crisp picture. Get the details in our editor's Samsung Frame TV review [74].

Editor Quote: "If you have the budget and prioritize aesthetics, I think Samsung The Frame TV is worth the money. The difference between what a typical TV looks like on the wall vs. The Frame TV is night and day. Yes, you can find a TV with 4K resolution in the same size for almost half the price, but it won't blend in seamlessly with your decor like The Frame TV does." — Angela Elias, former contributing shopping editor
