The Consumerist has been spreading the word about the 2009 Consumer Action Handbook that come to you free from the federal government, and I didn't want you to miss out on the guide that's available in paper and online. The handbook offers advice on how to file consumer complaints, tips about preventing identity theft, the basics of understanding credit, and many more topics. I wouldn't necessarily read it at bedtime, but you never know when the tidbits of advice might come in handy.
