Block Out Time For Emails

Savvy Tip: Block Out Time For Emails

Receiving emails throughout the day can disrupt your flow. Instead of responding to emails every few minutes, try to block off a chunk of time during the day just for your mail. First, set aside 10 minutes of every half hour to an hour to check your inbox for urgent emails. Answer the emails that need an immediate response, and the rest can be saved for the time you decided to block out to reply all your emails.

If you have Outlook and get distracting notifications that pop up, go to the preferences tab and uncheck the option that displays an alert on your desktop.
