DIY Flower Push Pins
Pretty Petals: DIY Flower Push Pins
Ditch boring push pins and upgrade to these colorful helpers that keep your bulletin board organized — and so pretty. All you need are a few silk flowers (which you can pick up at the dollar store) and a hot glue gun to create these push pins that also make a great gift to a fellow co-worker or friend. Create a bouquet of different flowers or stick with one kind for a coordinated collection.
What You'll Need:
- Silk flowers
- Scissors
- Push pins
- Hot glue gun
Directions:
- Start by cutting away the flowers from the stems and then removing the center from the silk flower, reserving for later.
- Now press the flower over the push pin so the clear top pops out. Use a bit of hot glue to hold the flower in place.
- Top with the center that you removed from the silk flower with a dab of hot glue and your flower push pin is finished!
- Continue making flower push pins until you have a beautiful bunch and then use on your bulletin board. For a really neat look, make your own fabric-covered bulletin board!
