You don't need to have kids [1] to enjoy Disneyland. In fact, I'd argue it's better without them. (I know, I'm terrible and clearly don't have kids.) I'm an adult woman who loves Disneyland [2], and I'm not embarrassed to admit it. Here's why Disneyland is awesome as an adult.
You can go with a big group of your friends.
You can drink alcohol.
Well, at California Adventure, at least. Cheers to that!
You can make it a romantic date night.
With literal fireworks to top it off.
You can go on all the rides you want.
And your favorites over and over again.
You can wear "cool" matching clothing with your BFFs.
Forget the cheesy merchandise of our youth, Disneyland attire is way more fashionable these days. (Relatively speaking.)
You can go all day without taking naps or breaks.
Naps are for babies!
You can Snapchat the day.
With cool park filters!
You can stop a million times to take photos for Instagram.
Sorry not sorry.
Seriously, so much posing.
You can eat as much junk food as you want.
Dole Whip before dinner? Yep.
You don't have to watch those dumb parades.
Bye, gonna ride Indiana Jones again.
You can wait in long lines to pose with characters.
No whining children to deal with.
You can stay super late.
And drink! Remember the drinking?
But BEST of all, you don't have to deal with this.
