i do still get 1 or 2, but that's about it. i don't know why i haven't changed those over. i feel like i'm doing a bit of good reducing my carbon footprint a little bit.

My gas bill is notoriously incorrect. I rarely use it but need it connected (perks of living in Cali). Sometimes they mess up and charge me 3 times the amount, no rhyme or reason. I know it should be under $5.50, yeah, what a pain. I need a paper reminder to check it every month. Stamps are getting freakin expensive though.

Credit card and cell phone the rest are online.

I went paperless for everything that I had the option to, but bills like my electric and water still come in paper format.

i like paper bills, because i have the archaic expandable binder which is organized by company so i can reference it for future. i know majority of my bills, i can print them out online but in the event, i need to reference, i like to have that hard copy. also, since i write off certain things for work (e.g.: cable), i need to have that hard copy. i also don't like using my card so much to pay things - because i'll end up not keeping track, so at least i can balance my checkbook accordingly. it's a weird system, i know but always has worked for me so why change it now?!

Most of mine are online, except for the random bills (medical, county tax, etc) that I receive in the mail.

I like having paper documentation, but I am trying to move towards a more earth friendly option. I don't pay anything online right now, but I do have most of my bills set up to be automatically paid with a credit card and then I just pay that balance off (in full) every month. It has cut down the hassle, and I don't spend as much on postage.

Some, yes. I pay everything online, though. The paper is just documentation. Also, I use the paperwork to reconcile with my own books.

All of ours are online, thank goodness. We pay them automatically with the credit card, which gets automatically paid off every month from the checking account. This way, we NEVER have to remember to pay anything. It is amazingly stress-relieving to never have to remember to pay never have to worry about late fees or anything like that.

I think I get all paper bills. It's just my preference to receive it in the mail, have it for my record and write a check to pay it. Also, my landlord gives us rent notices - but not through the mail. They are given to our doorman and he slides them under our doors.

I also prefer to get paper bills but pay them online. I keep them for about a year, shred them, and then take them to be recycled.

I prefer to get paper bills; like refinedharmon said, I save them for my records. So if I were to switch to online, I’d just print them out anyway.

I get most of my bills on paper and pay all of them online. I put them into a binder for safe-keeping!

Just one. The water bill doesn't have an electronic option. Chaton, that is insane. I have never had a landlord send me a bill for rent. It's rent!

My electric company and another bill still come on paper because the refuse to move into the electronic age of paperless billing and paying online. Sigh.

Oh! And I just moved into a new apartment. About the 20th of each month, they send out an invoice reminding me what I owe them for rent. :oy: It's the same every month, guys. They have about 25 properties, mine is 15 units, some are like, 10, others are 30... Let's just do ~20(units)*25(properties). That's ~500 units, at 42 cents a pop! It's over $200 on postage alone, that they could be saving monthly if they'd just give us an online billing option. They'd also save time for the AR clerk, the money spent on envelopes and paper... Or, you could just count on your tenants not to forget what their rent is from month to month - or to look at their lease if they do forget! In this day and age, paper bills seem almost archaic to me.
