Have You Ever Applied For a Scholarship?

My friend just won a scholarship toward her law degree, and I'm really proud of her! It's not going to cover her full tuition cost, but every little bit helps. I'm wondering, have you ever applied for scholarships?

Yes, I applied for and won a $1000/semester, 4 year scholarship from my dad's company. It definitely helped out a lot with my tuition.

Well my answer is yes, I applied for many! But I can't tell you how much I received, because I didn't get any of them.

my college education was funded entirely through scholarships - i actually got paid to go to school! i focused on my academic and extracurricular activities in high school and was fortunate to receive a generous foundation scholarship from my university of choice, in addition to a few smaller scholarships and grants that i applied for. Lovely_1, most scholarships don't have income requirements (grants do, however). don't give up! are you really good at a certain hobby? there may be a scholarship for you if you can share that. are you part of a civic organization? they might have one for you, too. how about the company you work for - do they have some kind of education incentives? keep looking! there's something out there for everyone!

I looked into it but because I am a part time student who works full time and makes JUST OVER the salary they have set I can't apply for any :*(
