Lampshades cast a lovely glow around your space, but the heat from bulbs actually attracts dust and other debris, creating a layer of gunk that doesn't look pretty. And built-up lint can also leave a burnt smell when lights are turned on. Instead of reaching for a duster and swishing the mess all over the place, use a lint roller to clean shades, lifting and sticking dust where it belongs. Remove roller papers as needed until the lampshade is free of lint.
