Last year, Canadian airline WestJet released a heartwarming video [1] featuring WestJet passengers receiving their Christmas wishes with the help of the airline employees. This year, it brought snow, Santa, and some very special gifts to a small town in the Dominican Republic. The airline has been working with partners in the Puerto Plata community to help aid in the development of the area. WestJet arrived bearing some pretty amazing presents, from washing machines and dollhouses to a new engine for a man's motorbike — one he needed in order to go to work and feed his family. The best surprise of all? The brand-new playground built for the children of the town.
