Which TV Boss Would You Want to Work For?

The Emmys are on tonight, and there are a number of actors nominated for their TV roles as bosses. From Michael Scott to Dr. House, having a strong personality seems to be one requirement if you're a boss on primetime. Acting skills aside, which of these actor's TV personas would you want to work for?

This was a tough one, but I would pick Jack Donaghy. He is just so mean, but at least he doesn't hide it.

NONE! They are all idiots or pigs. How about Nico Reilly or Wendy on Lipstick Jungle?

Most days I feel like I *do* work for Michael Scott.

Dr. House... he would challenge me to be better than him, plus i can learn from him, and I love a boss I can learn from.

Michael. I'd have a check larger than his, and probably half of his too. :D

Michael, because you can pretty much do whatever you want (instead of actually working) and he won't care.

Michael, because he lets them get away with not working all day. ;)

Jack. At least he wants to get ahead. Michael would drive me absolutely batty with his incompetence. BATTY!

i knew that a lot of people would say steve carell but that's not really my speed. interestingly enough i would have to say that i do NOT want to work for the mad men guy - seeing as how they are all so male centric and it's insulting to what we have in the advertising industry now. :) i chose alec ..

Jack because he would make me laugh through the day but not make me feel awkward like Michael Scott would.

I'm only familiar with House and The Office, but I out of the two I'd choose House. He's absolutely brilliant at what he does so I would learn a lot from him, whereas with Michael Scott, I'd be wondering "Why is this idiot my boss?".

I never watched 30 Rock so I can't comment on that one... out of the three left I'd work for Michael Scott. He may be incompetent, but he reminds me so much of some bosses I've had, I feel like I can handle him easily. He may be rude in a dumb way a lot, but most of the time he's well-meaning and means to be nice. Not House because I'd be scared of him, and not Don Draper because I'd pretty certainly mess up the "hide his affairs from his wife" task, and then he'd fire me for that.

Jack all the way.

I'd get into an ugly argument with House before lunchtime, as much as I like the show. I'd rather work for Gil Grissom!

Jack... just because I am odly obsessed with Alec Baldwin... strange, I know.

As much as I love House, he'd probably render me to tears. I'd have to go with Michael Scott. I can handle incompetence waaaay better.

House! I love him, and I'd get to keep my same job. Plus, I've never see any of these other shows.
