Would You Rather Be an Architect or an Interior Designer?

It's hard to pass judgment on a career you haven't had, but forget education, relevant experience, and interview contacts for a second. Which career do you think is cooler?

i love to design rooms and make them feel like completely different places so that would probably be my preference. i think that being an architect could be fun but there's so much science and math that i'd be afraid that if a measurement was off the whole project would go bust.

To me they are two different questions. Which is cooler? and Which would you rather be. I think an Architect is cooler, but I'd rather be a interior designer.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Architecture.. so I kind of have to pick that one :P I currently work with interior designers though.

I would want to be an interior designer -- it's closer to graphic design, which is what I'm studying :-)

One can be both.

I'd love to be an architect. Interior design is becoming so DIY nowdays that it seems like anyone can do it, so it's losing it's "coolness" factor as a profession.
