20 Things I Learned About Browsers and the Web

Website of the Day: 20 Things I Learned

Tim Berners-Lee published his proposal for the World Wide Web 20 years ago this month, and in its honor Google published a helpful online handbook titled 20 Things I Learned About Browsers and the Web. The document was written by Google's Chrome team and illustrated by Christoph Niemann and includes everything from answering "What is the Internet?" to explanations of popular web terms like HTML and JavaScript.

In 20 pages, the team does an excellent job of making complicated terms an easy and enjoyable read, not to mention supplementing words with cute illustrations and an excellent, fast online experience. Anyone with an interest in the Internet (or anyone with unanswered questions) will certainly enjoy it.
