This is every last-minute shopper's dream. Just recently, Amazon started rolling out a new service for one-hour delivery. Called Prime Now, it's now being offered in one zip code in Manhattan but will expand to other cities this year.

The cost? One-hour delivery is $8, but two-hour delivery is free. You can easily make the order from the Amazon app, and a bike messenger will deliver the goods. The catch is that you must already have the Amazon Prime membership [1], which costs $99 for the year.

It's certainly not the first time Amazon has made headlines for unconventional delivery [2].
