Apple is boasting that the 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pros are 50 percent faster than previous models with their new i5 and i7 Intel processors, and they are stocked with two graphics cards — the new NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M and Intel HD Graphics — to make watching movies, playing 3D games, and technical software run seamlessly, while the eight- to nine-hour battery span will allow you to work or play for longer.
The 15-inch MacBook Pro comes in three flavors starting at $1,800: a 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5, 320GB hard drive combo; a 2.53 GHz Intel Core i5, 500GB hard drive at $1,999; and a 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7, 500GB hard drive at $2,199. The 17-inch model will come stocked with a 2.53 GHz Intel Core i5 and 500GB hard drive for $2,299, while all models will feature the glass Multi-Touch trackpad inertial scrolling for faster photo and web browsing. Additionally, all MBPs will come with wide-angle LED back-lit displays, while the 17-inch version comes with a nice high res 1920 x 1200 display.
