Ask a Geek Girl: How Do I Save Apps to My Memory Card?

This question comes to us from Community member Koneal:

As I download more apps to my BlackBerry Bold, I notice it is saving to my device memory and it's running out. How can I have new apps saved to my memory card — a nice, delicious 1GB of memory?

Yeah I tried to kill mine with too many apps. The rep was saying that it doesn't go to the card but the memory and you can't put but so many on your device. It stinks! I think I'm going to look at the Droid, Pre, and hopefully iPhone.

From what I was able to find after scouring Blackberry message boards and looking around at RIM's Blackberry website, I wasn't able to find anything other than that at the moment, they don't support downloading to a memory card. I also have a Blackberry, and I've had to constantly delete apps just so I can use others...argh!

I've encounter this problem too. I have a 2GB memory card... and would love to put it to use!

I've wondered this too! I gave my husband my blackberry and he has run out of room for apps (not to mention it runs really, really slowly) cause its all bogged down. I hope someone can answer this.
