In case you missed it, two brothers rescued a bald eagle over Thanksgiving weekend in Canada and took an incredible selfie with the bird before letting it go. Brothers Michael and Neil Fletcher were out hunting when they spotted the eagle caught in a trap, unable to break free. In a video posted to Michael's Facebook, he is seen taking off his jacket to cover the eagle and then freeing its talon from the trap. The brothers then decided to take a photo with their rescue, because it's a frickin' bald eagle (and basically a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity). The result was this epic snapshot:

The image has since been shared over 2,800 times, and the videos of their rescue are quickly approaching one million views. Michael even added [3], "Everybody thinks it's like the selfie of the year," and we have to agree! Watch the brothers' entire journey below.
