Case-Mate iPhone Case Protects Your Phone, Stores Your Credit Cards

iPhone/Credit Card Case Combo: Love It or Leave It?

I'm digging the metallic blue hue on this iPhone case (it also comes in a number of other colors), but this particular case provides more than just protection to your mobile: it also holds your credit cards and cash! The Case-Mate iPhone Credit Card Case ($30) is great for when you're headed out for a night on the town and just want to take the necessities: phone, ID, and a few bucks for a cab. Not sure how I'd feel about toting around my credit cards out in the open like that all the time, but I guess when you have limited space in a tiny clutch, it could be a lifesaver.

Why does everyone always forget about the keys? If I have this for my phone, ID, and credit cards, but still need something to carry my keys in. Even if I seperated out the one key I need to get into my house put it in the credit card, it looks like the holes on both sides are big enough for it to fall out. What's the point of this if I still need my purse to be able to carry my key?

If I'm not mistaken...the back of your iphone is exposed to the cards sliding in and out. I'm a stickler for no this would be a definite no for me. Maybe if it were felt lined or something to help keep stuff from sliding out and from scratching my precious investment, I'd be more apt to consider.

It's a good idea but I'm not a big fan of flashing your credit cards/cash around. I'd also be afraid of something falling out! I'll stick to some of the wallet cases I've seen.

So, I checked out the product website and in their FAQ there is this: Q) Will it demagnetize my credit cards? A) No, this was tested prior to launching the case. So.... hmmm. Still not sure I'd want to risk it.

My iPhone demagnetizes so many things (parking tickets, hotel key cards, BART cards, ect) that I am scared to carry it with my ID and credit cards.

Exactly what I was thinking as well, Twisted. I would be worried about my cards demagnetizing in that case...

i like it, but don't they say that you're not supposed to put your credit cards next to your cell phone because it would demagnetize them?
