Entertainment Debt

Definition: Entertainment Debt

Entertainment Debt is the term having too much media to consume in too little time — including unwatched shows on your DVR, unspun Netflix discs, and unread magazines and items in your RSS reader.

A surprising form of stress from stuff that is supposed to be fun!

I don't subscribe to too much RSS. My thing would be library books. But I try not to stress about it.

I totally have this problem. I have a ton of magazines to read, but probably never will. And books... I love to read, so if I'm at the book store, I'll buy a book. Then I come home and add it to the pile of reading material. Ugh... that's so bad!

Yeah I feel this way often during peak times of the year where I have so many shows to record. I always have tons to read now which yeah it's stressful but it always beats the alternative. Right now I don't have too many shows to record so I've been picking up tons of books and movies from the library and I can never finish them all by the time their due. It could be much worse lol

oh my god (please note I took the time to not only type that out but then explain why I didn't use omg ;-) I HAVE THIS!! My brother bought us Warhawk for the PSP and we haven't played it yet. To make matters worse we got a second PSP and did the download of the Warhawk as well so we could do some co-op and still have not played. I'm doing it tonight. I swear.

I'd call it "Entertainment GUILT" Don't know why, but it causes me quite a bit of guilt when I can't watch/read fast enough to keep up with it!

Ahh, yes, I know this feeling well. I subscribe to ~70 RSS feeds. If I'm not online for 24-hours, I can get a huge backlog that takes a while to sift through, ahha.

Does that also include library books unread, because I have a pile that I'm just about to give up on ever getting around to.
