Fund Cancer Research With Unused Facebook Credits

Unused Facebook Credits? Donate Them to Cancer Research

Though most of you are against the idea of Facebook Credits on the principle that paying real money for virtual goods is a bad idea, what if your real-dollar-funded Facebook Credits could go toward a real cause like cancer research?

Tonight's Stand Up to Cancer telethon will not only allow donations via its Facebook page, but it will also allow donations to be made in Facebook Credits. The annual telethon features a range of celebrities and is broadcast across networks to solicit donations to fund cancer research.

Find out how to make your donations (cash or Credits) after the break.

To make a donation, visit the Stand Up to Cancer Facebook page, which is already accepting donations via Facebook credits. And if you don't have unused Facebook credits but would like to donate via Facebook, the site also accepts donations via credit card and PayPal.
