By now you know that space GIFs are all kinds of mesmerizing [1]. And here's a new one to add to your collection of favorites. Titled "GIF showing the amount of water on Europa compared to Earth [2]," it recently started trending on Reddit after it was posted by user markkula.

The GIF was made from a YouTube video (which you can see below) about Jupiter's moon Europa. The moon holds a large ocean, which is thought to have more liquid water than Earth. It may harbor life, and NASA has proposed sending a probe called the Europa Clipper in about 10 years to investigate whether conditions are stable enough for life to thrive.
