If you're a Team Android person and someone who completely fell in love with the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge [1], prepare yourself for all the latest rumors around the Galaxy Note 7. Ahead are various rumors about the new device, mostly from 9to5Google [2], set to be announced on Aug. 2.
- Display size: A 5.7-inch display, which can also be found on the Galaxy Note 5 [3].
- Camera: A 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
- Other features: The phone will have a micro SD card slot, 4GB of RAM, and a USB Type-C port.
- Waterproofing: A possible IP68 rating [4], making the phone water- and dustproof.
- A new way to unlock your phone: Most notably, Samsung is set to introduce an iris scanner on the Note 7, a new way to access your phone, according to 9to5Google [5].
- Availability: CNET reports [6] that the phone might go on sale in mid-August to beat the iPhone 7 [7] rush.
