The night is dark and ready for you to play a Game of Thrones board game [1], coming out in 2018. Yes, that's right; you'll get to decide who wins or dies in the game of thrones.
Announced by Cmon Limited, the board game is called A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game. It'll first launch on Kickstarter later this year and arrive in stores in 2018. In the game, you'll be able to decide which house will advance in their quest of the iron throne. It won't be just a straightforward game either; it promises "alternating activations" that will make the game have as many twists and turns as the show and books do.
To be clear, this is the starter set that focuses on the tension between the Starks and Lannisters. Hopefully, that means more expansion packs will follow later in 2018, with the Tyrells, Baratheons, and Targaryens joining the game.
