Geek Out: Share Your Favorite Video Games

Even if you're not currently a gamer, there's probably a video game you played when you were young, or in college, or last week, that you have a certain fondness for.

My guilty pleasure recently is Odin Sphere, which brings the player on adventures through a kingdom named Valentine. It's geeky and fabulous and I'm not ashamed to admit I'm a grown woman who loves it.

Share your favorite video games by searching the web and bookmarking them. Make sure to tag your finds with "video games" and tell us why you like them. Then check back to geeksugar next week to see if I featured your picks.

My favorite game has got to be Thousand Arms. I just absolutely love the characters, especially Meis, the perverted Spirit Blacksmith.

I would have to say that Resident Evil (original on playstation) is my fav. I literally lept and screamed when those dogs jumped out! And Vice City, I could drive around those Miami streets listening to cool 80's music forever. Morrowind and Toe Jam & Earl are favs too.

Whoo, Final Fantasy all the way! VII, VIII, XII... Shadow of the Colossus was incredible too! I've spent so many hours on that game trying to figure out of to fell the various collosi of that game, and you barley even notice the fact that there's absolutely no dialogue! Breath of Fire III and Dragon Quarter were great as well. I agree with many who listen Sonic the Hedgehog (although I only liked the ones for the Sega Genesis). Finally - Mario Kart! There can be a million racing games with the most realistic graphics, they will never top Mario Kart!

My favorite are the Zelda games (especially A Link to the Past). I also like to play The Sims and a long time ago I was obsessed with Bubble Bobble...

What Calamari said. :) Though I hear it's a difficult game. But favorites, wow.. way too many. One of my all-time favorites would have to be the Metroid series though. Also hooked on Halo at the moment. But if you just want a good story my favorite would have to be Final Fantasy IX. Oh, and Phoenix Wright for the DS. :D Great fun. ..Yeahh I should probably make a widget instead. :\ Hm.

One word...Zelda. Any generation, any console. I love Zelda. Then probably F Zero X for the N64 and Guitar Hero II for the PS2.
