Gravity, which stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, took home the Oscar for visual effects this weekend, and it's not hard to see why. Most of the film was shot with techniques invented by director Alfonso Cuarón and his production team from scratch. In fact, 90 percent of this movie is computer generated!
