Hide Photos on iPhone

Download of the Day: Safe Slide

It's happened to all of us: you hand your phone to a friend to show off just one photo and it results in their swiping through your whole photo library, embarrassing images included. No matter how innocent, not so innocent, or just plain goofy, we all have photos on our phones that we'd prefer to keep under wraps.

To the rescue is a new app, Safe Slide, that makes it possible to hide mobile photos on the sly, no deleting required. Use Safe Slide to select which photos remain visible on your iPhone, so that when you hand it over to a friend, colleague, or family member there's no fear of them seeing silly photo shoot outtakes or NSFW pictures.

Safe slide is a nice app indeed. the issue of privacy of personal pictures is growing. Friends or strangers swiping across our albums is a real pain. Another good app addressing the same issue is Private Moments (http://goo.gl/jYMuZL) which has a cool feature that locks the app once you place the phone on a flat surface such as your desk or table. I guess Apple should start incorporating these 'smart locks' into its own apps including mail and notes.

nice app. Does it offer password protection like File Locker Pro Suite?
