The power of Miranda Priestly is now in your hands. The "social news magazine" app Flipboard (free) got the biggest update since its 2010 launch today, introducing a new platform that turns readers into editors. That's right, the self-published zines of the '90s are making their comeback in a new digital format.
The app still presents news from Twitter, Facebook, and your favorite websites in a visual, interactive way. Flipboard 2.0, which launched today for iOS, introduces the ability to edit and curate custom digital magazines on whatever topic suits your interest and share that personalized content on the web or keep it private for your own research.
