How to Turn Off Google Instant Preview

How to Hide Google Instant Preview

Google launched a new feature this week, called Instant Preview, which allows you to check out the websites in your search query before you actually visit them. This addition can be handy to quickly scour pages, but it can also be kind of a hassle if you don't like pop-up boxes showing up in your search window.

Unfortunately, there isn't an official way to "turn off" Google Instant Preview, but there is a way to hide it. Simply clicking on any magnifying glass will hide the Instant Preview pop-ups. However, you should take note: it seems that previews will come back if you click on any text that isn't a direct link to a webpage. In other words, you can turn Instant Preview off, but don't click on random text under the main webpage link.
