Their reactions are just as honest as you'd hope — many already know what the watch is, but they don't know that certain features like texting are useless unless the watch is paired with an iPhone 5 or later. "Are you serious?" "That's just dumb." "I thought it just worked by itself." Still, overall they think it's pretty "awesome."

As for whether there's a need for the device? It's cool, but not necessary. "Nobody really needs a smartphone. Nobody needs this either," says one boy. "You don't need a TV, it's a cool thing to have."

Smart kid, but we have a feeling he won't keep that attitude for long.
