yogurt, I doubt you have anything to worry about. The top of your laptop shouldn't get that hot. "The best option to prevent your laptop from toasting your skin is stupidly simple: put it on a desk." Stupid being the key word there.

i use a cooling fan underneath my laptop and a wireless mouse to keep my hands off the keyboard when i'm just browsing the net. I move my hands away as much as possible so i wont get heaten up.
